How to Lose Weight Naturally Without Diet Pills
Saw this awhile ago over the internet while searching for some interesting things. This somehow caught my attention. After reading this article, I immediately thought of Xian. I would surely let him read this.
This was actually written by a former competitive bodybuilder and personal trainer. It’s a step by step instructions on how to lose weight and keep it off. So here it goes. Read on!

First of all, most of us treat our pets better than ourselves. You wouldn’t give your pet doughnuts and coffee for a meal, would you?
In order to lose weight and keep it off, you must change your lifestyle. There are two key components to losing weight and keeping it off — diet and exercise.
DIET
- First and foremost, in order to lose weight you must eliminate enriched white flour and sugar. I know this is tough, but you must read all labels. Sucrose, fructose, and glucose are basically sugar.
- For all of your bread needs, use whole wheat or whole grain.
- You can substitute sugar with honey, but go lightly.
- Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
- When you are craving sweets, eat fruit.
- Drink 6 to 8 ounce glasses of water daily.
- Do not skip meals. When you go more than 6 hours between meals, your brain thinks you are starving and tells your body to slow down and start storing fat. That will not help you lose weight.
- Don’t eliminate protein from your diet. Good sources of protein are skim milk, chicken, turkey, fish and eggs.
- Good vegetables are broccoli, green beans, English peas, carrots, spinach, and any green leafy salad.
- I prefer 6 small meals a day.
- BREAKFAST = 1 bowl of oatmeal, 1 8 oz glass of skim or low fat milk, 1 8 oz glass of orange juice (I alternate two boiled eggs with 2 slices of whole wheat toast every other day)
- MID-MORNING SNACK = 1 apple, 1 8 oz glass of water
- LUNCH = tuna fish or turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread, 1 8 oz glass unsweetened tea, 1 serving unsweetened applesauce. If you are craving chips, eat carrot or celery sticks instead.
- MID-AFTERNOON SNACK = 1 orange, 1 8 oz glass of water
- DINNER = grilled chicken breast, salad (light on salad dressing), broccoli, 1 8 oz glass of skim milk
- EVENING SNACK = 1 small bunch of grapes, 1 8 oz glass of water
- Try to eliminate white and/or yellow vegetables eg. potatoes, corn, squash, hominy, etc.
- Please be sure to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water throughout the day. Drinking lots of water alone can help you lose weight.
- For example:
EXERCISE
- Exercise is just as important as diet in order to lose weight.
- Start slow and work up to 30 minutes of low impact exercise 3 to 5 times per week.
- This can be walking, cycling, swimming, or use a rowing, elliptical, stair-master machine.
Just a reminder, always seek medical attention before changing your lifestyle. Well I guess diet pills are NOTt always the answer in losing weight. Watcha think? Hope this helps! Good luck!
