Ako Mismo Campaign at Bacolod City
I, together with my fellow Negros Bloggers, Mommy Ruby and Lois, joined the Ako Mismo Campaign yesterday at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon, Bacolod City. Eventhough it rained so hard, we still managed to go there to support the said campaign. When I arrived at the event place, there were actually a lot of people taking part, mostly students from different schools here in Bacolod City.

Negros Bloggers in action!
In order for us to purchase the original Ako Mismo dog tag, we must first get a pledge form, fill it up, and participate in at least three service and advocacy booths. After we complete getting 3 signatures from these booths, we can finally buy that famous dog tag.
The Ako Mismo Campaign activities include toothpaste and toothbrush donations, bloodletting for sick children with dengue, notebook drive for school children, tutorial reading for street children, and a concert for a cause. Well, good thing for us, Mommy Ruby was kind enough to buy lots of toothbrush and toothpastes which will serve as our donation. Nakisawsaw lang kami ni Lois actually. Wala kaming bitbit na stuffs eh. LOL.
Despite the bad weather which has ruined the campaign yesterday, I was still happy and feel fulfilled that I was able to lend some help to my fellow Filipinos. Kung kay Mommy Ruby pa, we are glad to prove our commitment to help make the Philippines a better place and even help the children of Negros. Oh yeah!

Big thanks to Mommy Ruby for buying all of these!
